Big Thank you to Mrs Montgomery EAL teacher for donating over £600 from a curry night she organised.  All contributions going towards Bricktastic.

Celidhl for Kenya

This successful event raised over £900 for the charity held at the Lindisfarne club in Wallsend.  A big thank you to all who donated raffle prizes.

Concert for Kenya

A Musical Evening by the DOLLYWASHERS a community choir and STAR OF THE SEA childrens choir at St Edmunds Church, Station Road, Backworth. 7:30 pm  Refreshments and raffle -  £5:00 per ticket. 

UPDATE:  THIS EVENT RAISED OVER £750 - A BIG THANK YOU TO THE DOLLYWASHERS, STAFF AND STUDENTS FROM STAR OF THE SEA PRIMARY SCHOOL - AND ALL OF THOSE WHO SUPPORTED THE EVENT.

Year 9 Christmas Fayre £240 Profit Raised

All year 9 students as part of their Leadership and Management Studies lessons plan and organise a school fayre for their peer group.  All teams had a set up fund - all profits went to the GorGor fund.  Well done to all Year 9 and Year 9 tutors.

Charity Evening at Dunston Club - Organised by Irene Storey - Nexus

Irene and staff at Nexus have been great supporters of the charity.  Irene has organised an entertainment evening at Dunston Club on 9/7/07 - all welcome.

Evening with Peter Beardsley Raises £2000

An evening with Peter B at Newcastle United - included a quiz, question and answers, football stories, raffles and tombola.

The event was supported by Newcastle United and costs were ZERO. All monies raised went direct to the charity.

Over £2000 was raised with tickets sales, raffles etc.   A fantastic night was had by all.

A BIG thank you to Peter and Newcastle United.

Two whole school non - uniform days raised money for a variety of charities including GorGor.

RACE EVENING - ORGANISED BY LUCY HURREN AND SIXTH FORM RAISED OVER £800

Sixth form students led by Lucy Hurren organised a race night at the Barking Dog in Wallsend.  Staff and parents supported this event raising £802.60
